Focus and Scope

Acta Psychologia is a peer-reviewed online journal in the field of psychology with publication focus on the research in the science of psychology. Acta Psychologia has a scope including Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Social Psychology.

Peer Review Process

  1. Each manuscript submitted to the journal will be selected by a member of Editorial Boards.

  2. Manuscripts that met the criteria of the journal will be forwarded to the reviewers. Whereas manuscripts that did not pass the criteria of the journal will be returned back to the author without review.

  3. During the review process, manuscript will be returned to the author for further revision should the reviewer deemed the need of it. Author(s) are expected to make revisions and improvements to the manuscript in accordance with inputs, comments, and ratings of the reviewers. Afterwards, authors must submit the revised manuscript to be re-reviewed.

  4. Each review process will be conducted with single-blind review method.

  5. Reviewing process will be emphasized on novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references of the manuscript.

  6. The final decision whether a manuscript is approved for publication will be decided by the Editor-in-Chief on the basis of recommendation from the reviewers.

  7. Plagiarism screening will be conducted using Turnitin and Google Scholar plagiarism checker.

 

Publication Frequency

Acta Psychologia is published every six months.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
