Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

Articles are welcome that deal with theoretical analysis, meta-anaysis reviews, and result of research or empirical studies from all aspect of Chemistry and Environment. Reports on new methodologies and comprehensive assessments of existing ones, as well as applications to new types of problems are especially welcome. Experimental papers are expected to be brought into relation with theory, and theoretical papers should be connected to present or future experiments. Manuscripts that apply routine use or minor extensions or modifications of established and/or published experimental and theoretical methodologies are appropriate if they report novel results for an important problem of high interest and/or if they provide significant new insights.

Peer Review Process

  1. Editors first review the submitted manuscript, called the initial review by the editors. It will be desk evaluated whether the submitted manuscript is suitable for the Indonesian Journal of Chemistry and Environment based on focus and scope, similarity score by using Anti-Plagiarism Software, methodological flaws, readability of the articles, and adherence to the submitted paper template.

  2. Furthermore, the manuscript will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Double-Blind Peer-Review).

  3. The anonymous reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. Afterward, the editorial team meeting suggested the final decision on the revised manuscript by the authors.

  4. Finally, the Editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.

  5. The accepted manuscript then continued to the copyediting and layout editing process to prepare the camera-ready paper.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal is an open-access journal that provides immediate, worldwide, barrier-free access to the full text of all published articles without charging readers or their institutions for access. Readers have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in the Indonesian Journal of Chemistry & Environment. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
