Focus and Scope

MOZAIK is an academic journal centered in the study of history. MOZAIK is welcoming contributions from young and more experienced scholars from different disciplines and approaches that focus on historical changes. MOZAIK is an academic journal to discuss various crucial issues in Indonesian history, both at local, national and international levels, covering the history of the early period of Indonesia to contemporary Indonesia. MOZAIK does it in a multidisciplinary and comparative manner.The scope of MOZAIK encompasses all historical subdisciplines, including, but not limited to, cultural, social, economic and political history, historiography, and the philosophy of history.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to MOZAIK is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "double-blind review". Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another, third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary.

 

Publication Frequency

Publication on January and July

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
