Focus and Scope

This journal is established to become a forum for scholars and practitioners to share and debate current and major issues in the field of educational evaluation in Indonesia and beyond.

REID (Research and Evaluation in Education) publishes high-quality empirical research articles and meta-analyses focused on assessment, evaluation, and methodological studies in varied educational settings and disciplines with their own particular phenomena, as well as relevant studies that address issues of current education concern.

The journal discusses scientific research on how assessment and evaluation can improve educational outcomes; research on how different disciplines can inform theoretical, practical, and political perspectives at different educational levels and systems.

The journal particularly covers manuscripts within the following areas:

Peer Review Process

Each article published in REiD (Research and Evaluation in Education) passes the process of double-blind review.

The novelty of the research, the appropriateness of the method, and also the continuity and clarity of the ideas become the main consideration in reviewing the submissions.

The reviewers chosen for the journal are experts in educational assessment, measurement, and evaluation, and also experts in different areas of study to focus on the topic of each manuscript.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public, supporting a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
